 PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS

Place one sheet of the magnet paper in your printer, print on the white side. Handle the paper by the edges to avoid fingerprints. Choose the ‘premium ink jet paper’ or ‘photo paper’ setting on your printer.

After printing wait at least five minutes for the ink to dry.

Once the ink is dry cut out the images and apply to magnetic surfaces.

Keep product in a closed package between uses and store in a cool, dry place.

Typical Magnetic properties of Flexible rubber magnet, Rubber Magnets

Flexible Rubber magnets are compound materials made by mixing ferrite magnet powder and rubber. Pressing or rolling makes the finished flexible rubber magnet. Because the material has good plasticity, the finished flexible rubber magnets or semi-manufactured flexible rubber magnets can incise, stiletto, slit or back up other materials randomly, have good antisepsis and difficult demagnetization. The raw materials are plentiful, so the price is lower. Flexible Rubber magnets are natural Flexible Rubber magnets or isomer Flexible Rubber magnets. Natural rubber magnets have weak magnetism, are used on iceboxes, presswork and marketing and promotion premiums. Isomer rubber magnets have strong magnetism, and are used in such applications as micro-motors and magnet toys.

Magnetic Properties of Sintered AlNiCo Magnet

AINiCo magnet is an alloy of aluminum-nickel-cobalt, has excellent temperature stability and corrosion resistance, it can be used in motor, sensor, separator, loudspeaker and holding system. This class of magnet remains a preferred material because of it’s excellent temperature stability, high magnetic flux density, and resistance to corrosion. Alnico magnets are manufactured through a casting or sintering process. The casting process allows for the magnet to be manufactured into intricate and complex shapes, which are not possible with other magnetic materials.

Magnetic Property of Ferrite Magnets

Made by means of powder metallurgy with main Chemical composition: Ba/Sro-Fe2O3.It is hard to be de-magnetized, with good anti-corrosion property. It can be made in various shapes of circular, cylinder, square, tile-type.

Characteristic:

1. processed by powder metallurgy method, low remanence and reversibility.

2. high coercive force, hard to be demagnetized, suitable for dynamic application.

3. hard and crisp ,usually cut by diamond tools.

4. main composed of oxide, not easy to be eroded.

5. usually work at – 40 °C to + 200 °C

6. both isotropic and anisotropic magnets are available. The magnetic properties of isotropic ferrite are low. Since they have nearly the same magnetic properties in all directions, so isotropic ferrite magnets can be magnetized in many different directions or in multi-poles. Anisotropic ferrite magnets have better magnetic properties compare with isotropic ferrite magnets. However this type of magnets can only be magnetized along a preferred direction.

Application:

1.widely used in permanent magnetic electric machinery, speakers, etc.

2.also used in all kinds parts of apparatus like micro electric machinery, electro-acoustic device, copying machines, medical equipment, etc.

Inspection Standard for Permanent Magnets

1) When the permanent magnets is not supplied with specific size and shape, the properties of material should be tested. The test standard is as per GB/T3217-95 «permanent magnet (hard magnet) material test trial method»,GJB2453-95 «rare earth permanent magnet material general criterion» and relevant enterprise standard. GB/T3217 stipulated the test method. Enterprise standard stipulated the test process and sampling method.

2) When the permanent magnet is supplied with specific size and shape, the properties of the magnetic component should be tested. The properties of the material are only tested for reference.

3) For different permanent magnetic components, the test parameters and test methods are different. For magnetic ring, the test parameter is diametric flux density. For magnetic segment and block, the parameters can be surface field, magnetic flux etc. The magnetic flux is better.

A digital tesla meter can test diametric flux density

With a transverse sensor. Magnetic flux can be tested by permanent magnet tesla meter and Helmholtz coil.

For more information about the international standard, you may turn to the following reference:

IEC 404-5(1982) magnetic material Part 5: test measure for hard magnet (permanent magnet) material properties.

JISC 2501-1989 Test method for magnetic material(Japan)

4) When the permanent magnet is supplied as magnetic assembly or component, the properties of the magnetic assembly or component should be tested. The buyer and seller will negotiate and decide the specific test method with each other.

5) Unless specified by the user, we will adopt standard sampling method for the final test of the permanent magnet.

What are the uses of the magnets in your daily use ?

  • Locate metal studs in a wall Seal off air-conditioning vents to improve home heating by placing vinyl-coated sheets over the steel register faces
  • Hang Polaroid of projects-in-process on the lip of a metal shelf above the workbench
  • Collect nails from a porch repair job that have fallen in the grass
  • Prevent corrosion inside your water heater; a magnet placed on the freshwater intake pipe catches damaging metallic calcium particles before they can get inside
  • Pin blueprints onto the side or hood of the truck
  • Create a bulletin board without the use of tacks, tape, or hooks on walls coated with magnetized paint containing metals
  • Protect a tractor engine: Ceramic magnets placed in the oil pan will attract steel bits that get into the oil from grinding pistons
  • Fasten steel framing squares to the outside of toolboxes for quick access by gluing magnets to the box sides
  • Clean up metal shavings that have fallen from the bench grinder onto the workshop floor
